Maduma

A word game with a twist

Calm, clever, and made for one or two.

For iPad · Coming soon

Maduma on an iPad: words crossing on a cream board, with patterned Maltese bonus squares and the shared vowels between two players.

Consonants are yours.
Vowels are shared.

Take the only E,
and your opponent goes without.

The River: five shared vowels, I, A, A, O and A, with three more next up and the next bonus square.

Use the River’s vowels on your go.
New ones join the end, so it never runs dry.

Bonus squares land every go

A new ×2 or ×3 drops in near the tiles
after each turn.

×2letter ×3letter ×2word ×3word

Each is a traditional Maltese cement tile.
Cover one to multiply your score.

The board mid-game, with a new ×2 word square dropping onto it and a +37 score bubble.
The end of a game: Pawlu wins, 256 to 242, with Play again below.

Beat the computer,

Easy, Medium or Hard.
Or pass the iPad across the table.

Dashed squares on the board showing a kid where their word goes.

Kids can
play too

Help lights up a word,
then shows where it goes.

A score bubble reading +48, six tiles, +20, with a firework over the board.

Six tiles in one go?
That’s +20.

Fireworks only
when they mean something.
